How we select our instructors and courses

Proposals are reviewed by members of the Tufts faculty from appropriate departments, references are solicited, and the large majority of applicants receive an interview conducted by two students and a faculty member. The Board of the Experimental College evaluates all the information generated and makes the final selection. Over the last few years, we have averaged more than 100 proposals each semester, all of which are competing for roughly twenty available slots.

Applications are due in early March for the fall semester and early October for the spring semester.  The deadline for applications is October 10, 2008 to teach in Spring 2009.
